The energy consumption of the Cantonal Administration and its resulting greenhouse gas emissions were calculated. Considering the costs and effects of energy efficiency improvements and of buying compensating credits for the remaining emissions, the potential for the Office to go ‘climate neutral’ was assessed. The investment costs for a 25 year energy initiative program were estimated. |
